Our commitment

As a healthcare company specialising in the central nervous system (CNS), we have a responsibility to improve the quality of life and mental wellbeing of people living with mental and neurological diseases or disorders.

We aim to do so by building a sustainable future, taking integrated action to run a responsible business, and by supporting families in need.

At Neuraxpharm

Patients and families come first

We work with partners across the health and pharmaceutical industry to build a sustainable business. Together, we aim to protect the health of people and the health of the world we live in, and to support families.

As part of this focus, we are committed to educating society about the importance of overcoming misconceptions and stigmas. Our teams work tirelessly to create awareness and educational campaigns, and solid scientific content on our website and social media. We also collaborate with healthcare professionals and patient associations, aiming to deliver relevant improvements in the life and wellbeing of patients with mental illness.

Corporate social responsibility

Understanding the community

A fundamental aspect of improving the quality of life and mental wellbeing of patients affected by CNS disorders is understanding their needs within the community.

Serving to help

We acknowledge the significant importance of serving the communities across our network of European countries, not only as part of being a responsible business, but also in order to better understand the people we strive to help.

People at our core

The overall corporate social responsibility capability for the whole group, providing broader and, in many cases, holistic support to healthcare professionals, patients and their families, is our key non-profit commitment alongside Neuraxpharm’s core business of supplying medicines.

NeuraxFoundation

We do this through the NeuraxFoundation, which offers the information and social support that is essential alongside medicine to improve mental health and wellbeing in the community.

Our corporate social responsibility programme is built around three key pillars

Quality

Providing quality medicines to improve the quality of life and mental wellbeing of patients affected by diseases and disorders related to the central nervous system

Sustainability

Commitment to our employees and the environment, by running our operations sustainably

Best Practice

Managing a responsible business that demonstrates excellence in all areas where we operate

NeuraxFoundation

The NeuraxFoundation was set up initially in Germany in 2014 as the corporate social responsibility (CSR) arm of neuraxpharm Arzneimittel GmbH, our German operations.

The original idea of the NeuraxFoundation was to enhance the supply of medicine by providing information and social support to the Neuraxpharm community while raising awareness of CNS-related diseases.

Since that time, this non-profit commitment has built up a considerable following, becoming the ‘umbrella’ CSR instrument for the whole group, and is in the process of being rolled out across all our operations.

We work with an innate passion and perseverance to move health forward for our customers and patients across the globe.

Our Code of Ethics

Neuraxpharm has a Code of Ethics that works as an internal corporate regulation of the highest level and establishes the principles and ethical values, as well as the guidelines of conduct, that must be respected in any activities in which a company of the Group participates or which affect a Company of the Group.

Ethics and compliance channel

We believe that transparency and trust are essential to the sustainability and long-term success of the company. With this aim, Neuraxpharm has made available a secure and confidential contact process, the Whistleblowing channel.

This channel offers an opportunity for employees, customers, suppliers and other external partners to notify us of illegal behaviour such as anticompetitive practices, breach of environmental regulations, harassment, corruption and discrimination as well as dubious activities in their environment or behaviour that do not conform to our Code of Ethics.
