Hij trad in 2018 bij Neuraxpharm in dienst vanuit zijn vorige functie als Chief Executive Officer (CEO) van Meda, een Zweeds gespecialiseerd farmaceutisch bedrijf, die hij vanaf 2013 vervulde.<\/p><p>J\u00f6rg was vanaf 2005 de Chief Operating Officer van Meda en werkte ook een tijdlang in de functie van Chief Scientific Officer. Hij speelde een belangrijke rol bij de jarenlange groei van het bedrijf en leidde in 2016 de verkoop aan Mylan voor USD 10 miljard.<\/p><p>Voordat hij bij Meda in dienst trad, was J\u00f6rg Chief Operating Officer bij Viatris, een farmaceutisch bedrijf in Duitsland.<\/p><p>J\u00f6rg werd geboren in het Duitse Bad Kreuznach en studeerde aan de Johannes-Gutenberg-Universit\u00e4t Mainz af in de geneeskunde. In 1986 werkte hij een jaar in een ziekenhuis in Koblenz, waar hij de titel van arts behaalde. Een jaar later werd J\u00f6rg de titel van doctor in de geneeskunde toegekend.
